Meet LeoLM: The First Open and Commercially Available German Foundation Language Model

WEB Llama-2-13b-chat-german is a variant of Metas Llama 2 13b Chat model finetuned on an additional dataset in German language. We're excited to announce the launch of LeoLM, the first open and commercially available German Foundation Language Model built on Llama-2. LeoLM is free for research and commercial use, and we believe it will unlock the power of these large language models for a wide range of applications.

Our Latest Version of Llama: Llama 2.13B German Assistant v4

This repo contains GGUF format model files for Florian Zimmermeisters Llama 2 13B. We've made several improvements to Llama in this latest version, including:

• Increased the model size to 13 billion parameters
• Improved the model's performance on a variety of natural language processing tasks, including text classification, question answering, and dialogue generation
• Made the model easier to use by providing a simple API

German LLMs Based on LLaMA-2 Pre-Training Are Available

In addition to LeoLM, we're also releasing two other German LLMs based on LLaMA-2 pre-training: LeoLM-hessianai-7b and LeoLM-hessianai-13b. These models are smaller than LeoLM, but they still offer strong performance on a variety of NLP tasks. We encourage you to experiment with all three models to see which one best meets your needs.
