Starbucks Recalls Frappuccino Drinks Due to Glass Contamination
Over 25,000 Cases Affected
Starbucks and its distributor, PepsiCo, have issued a recall for over 25,000 cases of their bottled Frappuccino Vanilla Chilled Coffee Drink after discovering the presence of glass fragments in some of the bottles.
Recalled Products
The following products are affected by the recall:
- 13-ounce bottles of Starbucks Frappuccino Vanilla Chilled Coffee Drink with the following expiration dates: March 8, 2023 through May 14, 2023
- 306,713 cases (total) of the recalled product were distributed across the United States
Health Risks
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are urged to discard it immediately. Ingesting glass fragments can cause serious injury to the mouth, throat, and digestive system.

Investigation and Corrective Measures
