2024 Democratic National Convention: What We Know So Far
Chicago Selected as Host City
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced Chicago as the host city for the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Chicago previously hosted the convention in 1884, 1892, 1896, and 1968.
The Midwest will host the convention for the first time since President Biden's victory in 2020.

The convention will take place from July 22-25, 2024, at the United Center.
